GOP Convention – Not TheWorst!

I haven’t had any time to write for quite some time now; however, I’ve gotten a lot of questions about the GOP Convention. In short, I loved most of the speeches and here a couple of links to the videos for those who missed it:

John McCain: Not a great speaker, but did well and has lived life to ‘Country First’ motto.

Sarah Palin: She spoke amazingly. No wonder she’s the highest rated governer at 80%.

Rudy Giuliani: I’ve been a huge fan for many years and he didn’t disappoint.

Fred Thompson: Sure he’s an actor, but he’s also a former Senator and told McCain’s story beautifully.

Mike Huckabee: Spoke wonderfully and I can’t get enough of the desk story.

Mitt Romney: Not covered by the Networks, his speech was none-the-less very effective.

Joe Lieberman: Nice appeal to Independents and non-liberal Democrats (I’m just not a fan of his).

Michael Steele: A rising star in the Republican Party (though overshadowed by the speakers above).

Michael Williams: I had never heard of him, but really liked his speech.

I’ll try to comment more on these speeches when I have a chance but will probably move on to current issues.
